American Cancer Society, blogging & social media

Choose You is a website developed by the American Cancer Society to promote good health and cancer prevention. I was hired to bring a more casual "women's magazine" style to their blog posts. My bylined blogs are published each week and I also create topical text for their Facebook fan page. Read my blog posts and sign-up to Choose You!

AT&T, Senior Leadership blog Editor

Since the beginning of 2011, I've worked with senior leaders at AT&T to fine-tune their internal blog posts. My contributions include defining blog topics, editing and re-writing passages, and writing the emails distributed to announce new content. The blogs have been wildly successful and the community format I created has won company awards and is now considered the benchmark for internal social media at AT&T.

Home Depot, website copy

I always love working with the good folks at Engauge. Last year, I was hired to write copy for HomeDepot.com. I took the lead on the "For Pros" section and had a lot of fun creating copy for the nation's top home improvement retailer. View the work. (Yes, the whole "For Pros" section. Food Lion, website copy

I recently finished up another copywriting project with the creative team at Engauge. This time the client was Food Lion (one of the largest supermarket chains in the US) and I was brought in to supplement work that their Assistant Creative Director had begun. The writing focused on Food Lion's mantra of "Good Neighbors, Great Prices" (i.e. customer service, community involvement, and value). View the site.

Wells Fargo, Greeting Card Copy

Dream assignment from Wells Fargo Insurance Services: craft an original riddle for a holiday card and gift giveaway. It was a creative and challenging assignment and the contest was a huge hit with their Manhattan clients. Can you solve the riddle?

MolliCoolz, Video Scripts

Another assignment from national ad agency Engauge. I wrote and contributed to a dozen video scripts for their client, the MooliCoolz ice cream company. The videos were produced and shown on the company's website and in other marketing outlets. View one of the videos here.
